Eight of Scotland’s top Michelin-starred and award-winning chefs will be showcase their expertise at ScotHot 2017 in Glasgow this week. ScotHot is Scotland’s leading trade show for food, drink, hospitality and tourism industries.
Included in this celebrity line-up is Glaswegian chef, college lecturer and 2016 Masterchef champion – Gary Maclean. Gary won the title after beating over forty other professional chefs over seven weeks of cooking during the 2016 Masterchef contest. His winning menu included a razor clams starter, a Highland roe deer main course and a chocolate pistachio ganache pudding.
Chef Gary continues to lecturing at City of Glasgow College following his win and this week he will be talking about his culinary journey to becoming a top chef and answering questions in The Masters Class interview at Scothot on Thursday morning.
