The 2003 edition was the last printed version of the very popular Taste of Scotland Guide - an extremely handy compact book for touring Scotland and one which is still sorely missed by travellers.

As the web developers for the online version we have continued to maintain a directory of selected restaurants, tearooms and other eating placed which we believe offer a true 'taste of scotland' via their menus. Intended as an aid for finding the best eating places in Scotland our listings have been expanded from the original printed version to include new and emerging restaurants plus other sources of Scottish food and cuisine including Scottish Food Producers and Scottish Farmers Markets.

All Scottish Food Producers, Farm Shops and Scottish Farmers Market listings are provided free of charge.

Restaurants promoting traditional or contemporary Scottish cuisine are invited to apply for a listing on our directory. We charge £120 for a twelve month listing. This covers production of our enhanced listing comprising colour photo, descriptive paragraphs, location maps, sample menus, web site and email links plus quarterly updates to their entry. All listed members have the opportunity to feature news and offers in our Taste-of Scotland.com monthly newsletter.
