Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel

Small, very unique hotel and restaurant offering relaxation, comfort and local Scottish cuisine Facebook: lighthousehotelscotland

Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel was 19th century lighthouse, now a listed building, which has been converted to a hotel and restaurant. Chef Raymond McMurtie and his team prepare food in an innovative style with interesting combinations of flavours skilfully presented. A light still beams warning ships that they are approaching Loch Ryan.

Owner’s Description:
Spectacular coastline can be found in and around the 20 acre grounds of Corsewall Light House Hotel. From the lighthouse galleries guests can get fine views of the Kintyre Peninsula, Arran, the Firth of Clyde, Ailsa Craig and on a clear day – the coast of Ireland.

Our menus vary depending on season but there is always a taste of Scotland on offer e.g. Kirkcudbright Salmon Fillet, Prime Scotch Beef Fillet, Galloway Pork Fillet as well as salads featuring local smokehouse salmon, Galloway cheeses and Lighthouse Cranachan.

Editor’s Note:
A romantic and exciting location on a dramatic coastline in which to enjoy some good Scottish cuisine and great views.
