Originally built as a row of cottages, the Clachan Cottage Hotel is located in Perthshire on the banks of Loch Earn which has to be one of the most enviable locations in Scotland for any restaurant. The views over the loch to historic Edinample Castle and Ben Vorlich are simply wonderful. At the Clachan Cottage Hotel, fresh seasonal food is the order of the day with most of the herbs and salads supplied from the owners farm in Perthshire. We use home grown free range eggs and all seasonal game is sourced from surrounding estates.

The provenance of our fresh produce is paramount to the huge success of our restaurant and it is with great pride that we have been listed for several awards. We get amazing fresh fish from Scotland’s west coast and beef from Aberdeenshire. You will certainly not be disappointed.
A typical starter at the Clachan Cottage might be hand caught scallops served on a bed of Stornaway black pudding with a drizzle of lime and lemon sauce, followed by seared duck breast with asparagus and carrot veloute. If you wish to finish with a dessert then perhaps our raspberry and chocolate mousse or a cheese board featuring some tasty Scottish cheeses.
