The House of Bruar Restaurant is the ideal place to refresh and refuel yourself whether you’re a tired traveller or satisfied shopper. A lustrous fired-earth floor and homely pine furniture lend a welcoming “Country Kitchen” atmosphere to our self-service restaurant, giving it a casual and cosy air that belies its 600-seat capacity. And on sunny days, you can take advantage of our Victorian-style glass-covered courtyard conservatory, where you can enjoy a leisurely lunch while watching the world go by.
The quality and variety of the food on offer in our restaurant exceeds expectations, with everything from gourmet sandwiches and homemade soup for a quick snack to handmade pies, vegetarian quiches, traditional haggis and freshly fried fish if you’re looking for something a little more substantial. Deliciously succulent cuts of roast pork and locally-sourced Perthshire lamb are available from our carvery every day, while on Sundays you can sample our rare topside of beef served with Yorkshire puddings and our signature home-made peppercorn sauce.
Seafood is another of our specialities in the House of Bruar Restaurant, with the fruits of Scotland’s sparklingly clear waters on offer to our customers whenever they are available. Fine smoked salmon, oysters, crab and shellfish all feature on our menu, so if you have a hankering for seafood you certainly won’t leave disappointed.
