The Inn at Lathones has for many years has been well known for award winning food. A host of awards including 2 AA rosettes for the 14th consecutive year along with VisitScotland’s Gold award for service quality 2009/10 and 2011 are testimony to the brilliance of the chef and kitchen team at The Inn at Lathones.
Customers can enjoy an inspired range of flavoursome dishes including platter of local seafood, home smoked pigeon breast, warm boar terrine, char grilled fillet of Scotch beef and a local favourite Aunt Aggi’s Seafood Pie
We are proud to offer its customers great food that is from the local area, organic were possible but always from well known sources. All our beef is certified under the Scottish Beef Club as is our Lamb and Pork. We can trace the produce we use right to the plate. The farms they come from are some of Scotland best.
Recently our restaurant underwent several changes and we now offers a much less formal style of dining. Similarly our bar area now serves suppers and lunches and customers can enjoy the separate menu in front of the log fire or a warm bowl of homemade soup from one of the comfy leather sofas.
The atmosphere is intended to be relaxed and informal throughout whether it be at check in, dining in the restaurant or sitting in the stone walled lounge in front of a log burner.
